A modern interpretation of the ancient Indian tale of Meghaduta, written by the famous Sanskrit poet KÄlidÄsa in the 5th century. When a divine servant is banished from heaven by his master he becomes separated from his lover. Their only way of communicating is through a passing cloud which offers its help.
In an abstract space, the inabilities of human language and the curse of isolation are subjected to a multi-media exploration. With a vast range of modern means of communication at his disposal, will man ever be able to completely overcome loneliness?
