About Me
I work as a freelance animator, director and animation director producing work with a handmade feel by mixing new techniques with the traditional craft.
Every message or story deserves a tailor-made approach which leads me to work in a broad variety
of forms ranging from stop-motion animation with objects, puppets or clay but also traditional handdrawn animation, cut-out or 2D digital animation.
Besides working as a freelancer I create independent animation productions written and animated by myself and work in artistic cooperations with other artists as much as possible.

Biography
Born in Eindhoven the Netherlands in 1985 as the child of two ceramists I was brought up with an overabundance of materials to play with. From an early age I became fascinated by clay and drawing; fascinations that persist to the present day. After graduating from the animation department at the art academy St Joost in Breda, I started my practice as freelance director / animator. From my studio space in Breda I have worked on a diverse range of commissioned Projects spanning from educational films and music video’s to installations and video projections for museums and theater. Besides this commissioned work I have continued to work on independent films in various traditional techniques like Claymation, drawn animation and stop-motion with puppets.
